I love these posts. I laugh my *** off at ---- like this. It happens all the time to everyone on the site, but no matter how many stories I read I laugh. Reminds me of home. Every kid here thinks they can run 9 second quarters because they threw on a grapefruit shooter to go with their cool *** vtec sticker in the back window. I was thinking about walkin around town and snappin some pics on the new digi. and starting a new thread. I was gonna call it " Tower, we are ready for takeoff " and devote the first one to ungodly sized wings. Coming soon in a post near you... The saddest thing is that I got rexes up the road that would be perfect. Sadly my girls bro is one of those: "my 4 door accord is quick as ---- cause it's got vtec." too bad it's stock and doesn't have vtec. jackass.

nah i just like the new vettes.

jeff crx can nip a z06 in the 1/4. and pretty much blow away a coupe. so thats what you have to do to beat a vette

Dude I use to be a Mazda tech but now on VW and I have driven the Mazda Speeds when we first got them. THEY ARE SLOW. What a waste. At only 6PSI , 185HP , and a bum F*** loud of stereo crap. PLEASE. Those things have a chance to be fast if you modify the crap out of them ( i.e. larger FMIC , Bigger exhaust , ditch the Bling Bling rims , up the Boost. ) then maybe it be a fast little mazda but stock. I saw one trying to spine out of the parking lot we were hanging out at one night and he barely broke the tire loose.. then I saw him come into my dealership complaining about problems with the car.... luckly I was the tech. working on it and said to him " Hey didn't I see you at Parkway doging the **** out of your car " It was a kodak moment.

actually no i don't run flat 12's i wish. i'm running really low 13's. a vette i believe is running low 13's as well. i'm not saying i'm a good driver but i do really have a nice launch and i drive pretty good. but i think if someone who know how to really drive it i'm sure he can beat me but not much. prob. anywhere from 0.2-0.5 seconds. i think a 2002 vette runs 13.12 and thats a pro driving it. so, hopefully that answers your question.

So the mazda speed protoge is slow stock so its a waste.. I guess no one should ever buy a talon then because they are very slow stock.

Warren whats your setup again? Do you have a time slip that shows the very low 13's..

boost controller, first, second, third i'm hitting 12 psi
once on fourth turned down to 8
regurlary i'm always racing 9psi. when it's not a vette or hooked up wrx.
