why do people always hide their license plate when posting pics on the internet?lol do they think some phycho killer is gonna come get them? i see 95% of the time the plate covered.

well if someone where to have your plate number it would be too hard to track you down. they can get your address, cuz the car will be registered there...in thoery my car is registered about 40miles from here

$10 at the DMV gets you name and number and address located of the car. i relly dont want people coming to my door and stealing my ----. just think about it.

i agree but anyone can come and steal anybodys' ---- off the street. i did't know about the $10.00 to the DMV and you can get the adress part. do you need any special info to do this?

it's just smart to keep that ---- under raps. WIth your plate I can get your name, with your name I can get every ------- piece of info about you, driving record, your relatives you name it. It's just a smart thing to be parnoid in a more generalized fashion.. I don't even like posting pics of myself.

yeah that is why identity theft is number 1 here in colorado... becouse people like you think there is nothing to worry about till its too late and you catch it 6 month down the road when your credit is fucked and you life is ruined for a few years.
