They have electrical problems which is the biggest downfall. Crank walk isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. A lot of people ---- the car up and blame it on crank walk.

They are pretty good stock (assuming he has a GST/GSX). I have seen some stock internal/drivetrain motors run 11's with a few mods.

yeah it only happens on 7bolt motors.. like 92+... and you can swap a 6bolt into those...

My buddy with a fast DSM has his on jack stands most of the time. But so far it's all been tranny problems or problems caused by his own error.

The 4g63 engine itself kicks ***.

However...EVERYTHING attached to it sucks.

Electrical problems galore. Poorly designed engine control. Very little diagnoistic capability. HEAVY CHASSIS. Transmission was designed for a 2300lb car, not the 3000lb pig it resides in. Clutch diameter too small for torque output. Engine harness is part of the body harness, no man connector to separate. HEAVY *** CAR. The lightest of all dsms weighs in at 2850lbs. MCstruts. Center diff likes to scatter itself across the 60ft light. ETC> ETC> ETC> :P

Anyone who wants to generalize all "honda" or whatever owners are pretty stupid... But anyways hondas dont have stock turbos... Id take more pride in knowing I did everything myself (with the help of home depot) instead of just bolting on a 16g or whatever gets those type of people off. That guy likes to bullshit and probably knows how to turn a wrench and nothing more. BTW I have nothing against DSMs, they make cheap daily drivers

Stock for stock it should still beat his Honda. My stock GS Eclipse tore up Jorshers stock EX EK. I even had 17" rims compared to his 15"s

if you didn't win then you should have killed yourself considering you have half a liter in displacement and one more camshaft over him. Granted that doesn't say much to the 200+ lb weight difference, but i guess there's a lot of variables. In any case, i think most knowledgeable honda owners realize that all cars are piles of ---- and break, but hondas appear to do it less frequently, and when they do, the engineering is far better for fixing them.

I had a heavier stock car, two subs in a bandpass box that weighs about 70lbs, 17"s, and Jorsher is about as big as one of the Olson twins
