I don't enjoy drifting on the streets though. That gets dangerous. Racing on the streets is dangerous, yes, but I think drifting is a little on the insane side, only because people dont know how to do it correctly. A drift, is a controlled slide, not pulling your e-brake going around a corner. I like drifting on the track.
I totatly agree with you. I mean its fun only if you know what your doing but dont do it all the time. I dont own any cars that can drift. So i have to rely on my drifting skills on Need For Speed Underground

LOL. I once rode in a 240 while drifting. LOL. I respect the people who do it on the track.

Hell I'll stick to fwd car cause if I got a RWD car I'd be trying to drift everywhere and end up killing myself or someone else. I just do heel toe shifting everytime I drive to the grocery store with my wife just to mess with her! I guess it's just from watching my Best Motoring and Hot Versions DVDs too much! Once I see that someone starts making Altezza's for the AE86 that the end of it and Hollywood shouldn't be able to make import car movies anymore.

I tried to do some RWD drifting in my truck last weekend after the reception for my buddies wedding. We ended up doing a little off-roading. You really need a decent vehicle to do it in. Peg leg rear end in a light truck doesn't help........being drunk doesn't help either

BTW, it was on the most abandon road you could imagine about 20 miles up a mountain. Nobody was coming and nobody was going, except me.

delete that before APC sees it :P

some guy came in the shop for an oil change the other day with an old rusted out AE86 telling us how fast and "JDM" it was, put the bitch up on the lift and the rusted muffler fell off, LOL its funny cause now all these guys who treated these cars like junk and didn't know the heritage think their bone stock ones are all fast and ----

People are idiots.. my neighbor tried drifting in his RX-7, came back with the front bumper half falling off.. he just got a brand new paint job the day prior, too

I hope another craze doesn't start over 3F3F (or whatever the hell its going to be called)

I agree that drifting will be the newest phaze for the ricers. Good news might be that now hondas will be out of style and thus places like H-T will suffer greatly (except for the few homo s2000/nsx drivers).

Everyone will rush out and buy 240sx cars and things of that nature (old *** rx7's, supras, 280z). Drifting is actually really fun if you can get some abandoned wet roads to play on. I used to drift my volvo (shift lock/e-brake) back before I even knew what it was called. Drifting in a camero can also be fun.
