lol my turbo overpowers my exhaust all the time. i can barely hear my exhaust when im cruising or accelerating at like 1/16th throttle

Yeah Johnny, your T3 just sounded wierd to me. But it does sound good. Has a nice spool up noise

When my SC61 finally decides to spool, my car sounds like a ------- jet. Now that its been on 15psi for a few days, I can hear it over everything regardless of speed/wind noise.

Definitely not if you want the turbo to last. I mean hell, running without an air filter on a street car is plain stupid.
It only takes one tiny rock for example to totally destroy a turbocharger beyond repair, and small particles in the air can eat the compressor wheel pretty quickly.

mine whistles half throttle like a huge semi truck all the way down the freeway, i get old people staring at me like "wtf is wrong with his car" then at wot my ---- screamz like it wants to blow up then a nice tshhh from the 1st gen bov. love being boosted in a "not supposed to be" boosted car. makes people lick my ballz with massive questions. i'm also running it "open" with no filter and its been fine for couple of weeks now. i was thinkin bout puttin a screen or something but im to lazy...

haha I do the same thing but it's my car that I'm listenin' to so she doesn't get to talk at all when she's in the car.

My car sounds awesome when I am running open downpipe. Hmm maybe I will go take my exhaust off today.

i love when some dude pulls up nex to me while i'm slowly cruising, and he steps on it and starts to pull, and i step on mines too and he hears the high pitch WHISTLE kicks in and i start pullin off him then he chills...........then he acts like he dont see me when we stop at the nex light.
