I only have defrost, but not because I pulled it out. I think the heater resistor is blown. I got through a buffalo winter with just defrost though and it wasn't bad.

It gets up to like 128 degrees here, but it also gets damn ------- cold. It's so dry and windy in the winter. I couldn't go without my heater. The winter time is when I'll be pimping my hotrod the most so a heater is a must. I don't want to freeze my *** off over a 3 pound weight loss. I'll cut down on the breakfast burritos if I want to shave 3 pounds off my sled. Plus your cooling system is more efficient with the heater and ---- hooked up. If you ever overheat in traffic you can crank the heater full blast to help cool down the motor.

ya, like someone's going to want to crank the heater full blast on a day when it's hot enough to make your engine overheat? ---- it, I'll just get a new engine, I'm not going to get all hot and bothered over it.

did anyone else think the title of this thread was "who's heartless" when they first clicked on it? I sure did, I was about to start saying how I kicked puppies and ----.
