If I can find the set of bushings I have I'll give them to you...for the cost of shipping of course.
I hate D15's. I've boosted 2 of them and they both gave me problems. The last D15 I boosted is still running in N/A form, but it smokes like a son of a bitch. Most likely the pistons are in pieces, but I really shouldn't have been running 15psi on a .48/.60 T3.
That turbo wil be perfect for that motor. Don't let anybody tell you it's too big. Those are the guys with 3" ***** that say size doesn't matter. Ask their girlfriends if size matters......
Boost it and post pictures of the rods poking out of the block.

---- I already bought the bushings, oh well. I'm planning on running about 10 psi or so and I'm gonna spend plenty of hours tuning it until I get everything exactly the way I want it. It's just gonna suck when it blows cuz I don't have an engine lift to swap the Z6 engine/tranny in

I bought the same car as you for 500bucks...with the sloppiest shifter ever.
I put in energy suspension bushings and a shortthrow shifter while i was at it and now it is beautiful.
and yeah its all done from under the car
-disconnect from tranny (one bolt)
-disconnect two bolts from bushing (stabalizer i believe)
-put new bushings in and rebolt that ---- up
if you wanna put a new shifter in just take the whole unit out and do it on a workbench or something, its way easier (need some vicegrips)
but yeah the bushings will fix up that sloppiness for sure
when i dropped the engine out of my other LX i just supported both engine and tranny with jacks..unbolted tranny..unbolted engine mounts then lowered engine down and wiggled it off (put a sheet underneath so you can just slide it out) but when its down just jack the car up all done with wheels on..
hope that helps..

Ok so say I was doing a engine and tranny swap at the same time (Z6 fo sho). Would you recommend keeping them bolted together and removing as one piece or taking the engine and tranny out separately? What's the quickest way to disconnect the axles?
