Like a lot of the members on this board, I visit many different forums. Some I post on, some I just browse. Lately I have noticed quite a lot of "my car is better than your car arguements", whether it be RX-7 vs. VR-4, 300zx vs. RX-7, Supra vs. everything, honda vs. volkswagen etc. I know this has been going on for decades e.g. Chevy/Ford/Chrysler wars, but it seems to be getting away from semi-friendly competition towards downright nastiness. I guess what I am getting at is, I like or at least respect all cars for one reason or another and I feel like I am in the minority. I am curious how many of you stand on this? Whether it be muscle cars, imports, fwd, rwd, new or classic whatever, I like cars period. I am not trying to post a "can't we all get along?" speech, just curious about your opinions as I stated above.

I honestly havent seen to much of that on this board at all. I think we are all here for pretty much the same reasons, we want to learn, we want to make our cars go fast for cheap. Some like to brag, some talk ----.. Thats the way life is. I am not turning this community into a Crx resource by (steve jones) rules..

I wasn't referring to this site, I have just seen more than average on other site's lately. And I do appreciate the lack of resource style rules, otherwise this post would've been delete already.

I respect all cars as long as they are performance and the not those who are cocky and always bragging. Those are the people that push me to make a car slaughter theirs and put their bitch *** in place. I don't hate but this sport has ******** and always will the only thing we can do is create better and faster cars to shut them up

It is pretty lame to see bashing, but that is America and the 1st amendment. I like this site, as people seem to look for info on engine modification and tuning, something I can relate to no matter whether it is a Honda Vtec engine, Supra, or a Supercharged Lightning.

Yeah, I know what you mean. If you ever visit any corvette forums, all you see is honda bashing. Some of those guys think its impossible for a honda to beat their vette. To me, if the car is fun to drive in some way, then its not all that bad . On a side note, I once hade a hyundia accent, they are GAY. slow as ---- and they don't handle all that well. Plus, when I was offroading one time, I put the ****** in a ditch and it took 3 hours to get towed out.

see where i live none of my friends like imports...i have to drive an hour and a half just to be with friends that like imports...it sucks...i get bashed on all the time..24/7.. and the kids that do like imports here are cocky sob kids...not the type of people i like to hang with.

but even with all the hate thrown at me about what i like, i sill like all cars some more than others but i like all.

what i dont like is when some one puts a huge wing on a car that is mostly stock inside were it counts.

but the worst is when someone talks ---- and has a slow car... thats what makes me hate a car....not the car but the jackass driving it...
