They won't tow without the keys, which was why it was impounded in the past, and why the title got damaged/destroyed, and why I have to get a title bond.

Dude, it's not hard to pop the lock on the column and drive it wherever. Or is the car not running?

car runs...as far as I know.

I bought it from a dealership in MS a long time ago. Previous owner was driving it on vacation, timing belt snapped, didn't want to spend the money or wait for it to get fixed, so traded it in on a new car, and the dealership sold it unfixed for $500. I assume it will be running, as it drove until the timing belt snapped, and I replaced the timing belt.

Then. Car accident (in a CRX), came home to broken into apartment, keys to the civic and teg were gone, lease ended that week and nobody would tow because i didnt have keys, apt had it impounded, hatch and ---- was busted out, and title got fucked.

What engine?

It takes a normal phillips screwdriver to remove the column plastic, a decent set of medium-small channel locks (Knipex, my fav) to remove the headless bolts retaining the ignition lock, and a small (or large jewellers) phillips to drop the ignition switch off the back of the lock cyl. You might need a medium-small flat to turn the switch over. Under ten minutes work.

If OBD2 with IMM you also need to remove the green key, but that takes a lot less time.

it's a 95, not sure on integras if that was obd2 or obd1, but I'm guessing obd2?

I have a p28, just hook that up and pop the ignition switch?

I'd rather just get a key since I'll need one anyway, and that way if i got pulled over at least it won't look too suspicious.

That's OBD1.

P28 will run it lean, but it will start up and drive. I recommend not hammering on it, but you don't want to do that if you are avoiding unwanted police attention.

Hopefully Bryan Taylor will come through and hook a brutha up, otherwise I guess I'll do the ignition switch.

If the car has been sitting for 1.5-2 years, should I dump the gas or just add fresh gas? Change the oil or is it fine?

Check oil, check coolant, fresh gas is a maybe but she definitely won't fire without starting fluid because all the light fractions in that old gas have broken down and getting the first ignition to put heat into the chamber will be difficult.

I'd spend 30 minutes fiddling with it to see if you can get it idling @ temp, and do it ASAP, in case you need a key to go the tow truck route.
