good workers are hard to come by, but if you pay/treat them right, they wil stay with you for awhile. Thats what I learned from our biz. It takes alot of time, money, and effort to train sombody right, then you find out that they arnt worth a ----, and you just wasted all that.

Yes good workers are hard to find...thank god my one worker is excellent, picks up on everything I ask him to do and rarely asks the same question twice. Yes he had growing pains too...but as he got better, so did my ability to be able to pay him more (and I did).
I worked in corporate America for nearly 6 years after graduating from a 4 year college...I know what shitty employers are like and hopefully I am not one of them. I just try to do what I would have like to see my bosses or company owners do...and not do what they did, and I am doing pretty well so far.
Just so everyone is clear...my shop is in bumble ---- North Jersey. Its all water, reservoirs and preserves...there is barely any industry here and the air is nice. Its quiet...and that the way I like.
BTW...there will be an HMT dyno day as soon as I get the new dyno in (once I get back from my Honeymoon)....WOOT!

Hey about me. Used to work at Japanese engine inc for almost two years. Was the best guy he had in the five years he was open. I now how to treat slow/ mad people in a nice educated manner. I know a ton of stuff about every make and model not just hondas. Have done more swaps then I can recall. I am always early to work, and I work hard. On top of all you know me and I am local. BTW this is Steven,
My requirements are:
1) No disrespect, i.e I treat you with respect and want to be treated with respect.
2) No sundays, I don't mine working one here and there but not every week.
3) Meet or beat my currant pay, BTW I work in sears so it should not be that hard.
