I'm talking not letting your foot off the gas, shifting 2 or 300 RPM before the redline and barely missing the rev limiter when you're blasting through gears. I was just wondering if anyone else enjoyed this as much as I do. Not only is it fun and sound cool but my car feels and is so much faster as compared to normal shifting. Does everbody do this, if it can make my DX gears feel fast I can only imagine what it does for other cars.

I wouldnt Race if i couldnt speed shift, i do it all the time, i love that ----.. and i love what comes after... Funny ---- is i liked it so much i would even do it on a turbo zc shifting into 2nd and my car would just bounce real quick(crappy shocks) and then just spin all the way through second.. Still fun as hell

i guess everyone has a different name for it? I know it as power shifting, some other guy on here calls it flat shifting....whatever....

My old DX tranny wouldn't let me shift without letting off the gas. I would just bounce off the limiter while yanking on the shifter to try to get it into gear. It probably wasn't too good on anything.

i run faster at the track when i don't let of the gas... and i can shift pretty ddamn fast/good regular too. so...
