Re: who knows Nitro R/C???
The trannies def hold up to the abuse, my pop has 3 Tmaxx' 2 of them have a 28 sized engine and one has a OS .21RZb boosted, the trans are not the greatest but treat them as good as you would treat your real cars trans and don't slam the ****** into reverse and ---- full throttle, oil, etc. it will last but of course the reliability will go down some.
Helicopters are tough even with all 3 Gyros installed. the only thing the Gyro does is allow you to remove the flybar and regain the stability. even with a Gyro on all 3 axis any helicopter that don't have a co-pilot will still crash regardless unless you are alredy able to fly.
right now I have 2 Kyosho Caliber .30's , 1 Belt CP, 2 HoneyBee FP, 1 Honeybee King V2 and a Walkera 4#3 on the way.
NONE of them will fly themselves without a co-pilot which would only recover the helicopter before a crash to an extent. you will still crash if your not in the right angle even with Co-pilot with the compelte add-on kit.
been flying since I was 15 and before real gyro's hit mainstream. the ONLY helicopter that will in fact fly without the toughness and agility is any Coaxial due to their nature to self-center.
Only cars worth owning are the Serpect Vectors and Kyosho MP7.5 Inferno, all this new ---- is such horrible quality its not even worth it.

Re: who knows Nitro R/C???
if you had $1600 in heading hold gyro's on any R/C heli, a newb would demolish it inside of 5 seconds. up from the typical first newb flight of 2 seconds tops.
sadly i am not exaggerating how complicated flight is. especially heli flight. you can't fall off the earth... atleast until hotrex's *** finally meets his ego and they form their own gravitational pull.
and ur buggy is like the only cool one ive ever seen so mad killa props

I used to run the ---- out of my traxxass engines. They dont hold a tune for ----. All i did was put a carb off an os and it ran like a top. every 3-4 gallons i'd replace the piston/sleeve and rock out again.
I'm A hardcore carpet racer tho. i still love to take out my rc10gt to the track.
Anyone want a tmaxx for cheap? fresh rebuild!
Anyone else into carpet racing? I've been all over the west coast doing it.
Anyone do RC rock crawling? I've started to dip into that, super fun
