who knows anything about steam power/steam engines?
thinking of making a herpes prototype tomorrow, what you nogs now about steam engines? nothing crazy for a first run, more than likely a leather sandwiched plates in a chunk of exhaust and a smaller section for the valve. steam is pretty ------ powerful.. look what steam trains can move (with fixed gearing)

creates IMMENSE tq since piston is being pushed in both directions unlike gasoline. the better seal you can get the more power it will make.
could also just use compressed air instead of stem to test it so you dont burn yourself

Make sure whatever you use for a steam tank is strong. This kid Rodrick in highschool used to really like steam powered ----, and is now missing an eye because the seams on his tank were weak.
