Re: who here is into boats....
I'm in to boats now ...han I always loved them.
Back In poland my unckle is the inspector on the local lakes, he took me out in the company boat one day, a inline 6 Volvo engine with what looked like a T4 on it, this thing was crazy, we were in some open waters and he told me to push the throttle all the way forward, so I did, at first I thought *pff, thats it?*
Then I heard the whine from the turbo (remember, this is a small boat about 15 feet long, with a fiberglass hull and cabin, its ------- loud) so then there is this rapid boost from the turbo and wham youre holding on for dear life, the Bow raises to the point where you cant see where the hell youre going as youre jumping the waves, definetly a kick *** experience.

i used to own a... I liked to call it a mini yacht. It looked like a yacht, but it just wasn't a very big one. I think it was a 15 or 18 incher. Thing kicked ***. I loved it, taking it out to the waters in the backyard. Damn thems was the days. It just sucked when it would die in the middle, but still was great. I dunno what happened to it. I think it got smashed up and trashed

I love boats, my dads got a Scarab I, with a 350 and a whipple charger we installed 2 summers ago. Its deffinately fun to go smashing on other boats, 70+ mph seems so much faster on the water when your just skipping on the surface.
