sti is a mid 14 second car from a roll. even with the ls1 being a vert, should still trap 105ish while the sti is lucky to be a 98mph car from a roll. that pretty much sums it all up.

EJ20's and EJ25's biggest disadvantages are the uber-small turbos that they stuck on there from the factory. And then after 350-400hp they start grenading their stock cast internals like no tomorrow. Honestly you can't even say they're good on an autocross track unless they've been heavily modified suspension-wise. Every solo2 event I go to I watch sti's and evo's post 1/2 mile times in excess of 48 seconds, where as a guy in an 89 Si hatch with a stock d16a6 slams out consistent 36 second passes.
Those cars are not meant to be 1/4 mile monsters, they're meant for track/circuit/rally type of abuse, and only with massive amounts of work. The only thing good going for them is their brake systems. :P

Theres one by my house. All white with carbon hood, trunk, and doors. I got up next to it and I could hear he had something done to the tranny, sounded ------- badass. Im assuming its fast as ---- but I havent seen it run.

just another guy in a stock camaro that thinks he has a fast car, i raced a ws6 6 speed with duals, no cat, intake and dr's, raced him in a 4 door integra with a b20 on 8 pounds and bald *** 16" tires and dirted him atleast half a block just going through second and 3/4ths of third

stis stock w/ exhaust are SLOW. especially from a roll.
go find one that has ran 13.3 stock like that interweb site claims
