Who has used an exedy oem clutch replacement before?
Want to do a clutch job on my 02 civic and the dealer wants 444.43$ for a clutch kit, exedy oem clutch kit with all the bearings and tools is only around 80 shipped to my house, any input for a clutch that feels close to oem and is good for longevity.

I put in a ebay $65 clutch into my car, beat the ever living **** out of it for 2 solid years, I just pulled it out while tearing down the motor and it is still in great condition.
hope that helps.

Exedy is the performance wing of Daikin, who makes the OEM Honda clutches.
I don't know about the newer cars, but there is a distinct difference between the Exedy and Diakin clutches in the "D's and B's" era. The Exedy disk has more metal around the springs, so they aren't as prone to bust out like the stock units.
$80 for OEM quality that is probably enhanced? Hop on it, man.
