I'm trying to find somehting about that on www.rogers.com
From what i can tell they use CDMA phones aswell on the 1800band or something?

thats ------ weird...i just looked on their site, and it looks like they use tdma and 1900 gsm, which means they are prolly phasing out tdma to replace it with gsm.

however, here is their gsm coverage map...http://www.gsmworld.com/cgi-bin/ni_map.pl?cc=ca&net=rw

if u are in a place where their service is okay on that map...a purely gsm phone should work fine.
