I beat most of you guys.

$4000 on car loan (I was $500 away from paying it off before I had to refinance to fix it after accident #1)
$1200 to the dealership I work at for parts
$350 to my boss for various car parts
$900 on my visa for car parts

All that, and wednesday I hit a deer, wiping out my front end, including my $600 Fiber Images hood. So, without fixing my car this time, I'm already $6450 in dept simply because of my car.

well, bought my teg for 3k last summer since then dropped about 2k in it and just spent about 900 more this past month for my turbo kit so almost 3k in less than a year, all cash also, my credit sucks! but i'm kind of glad because if i had credit cards they would all be maxed out

I'd guess $4500 into the engine (entire swap, turbo, hondata..etc.)

If I need it, its a good deal, and it makes sense, I buy it.

well my credit card is at about 2500 but i live rent free (not with my parents) but im saving to buy a house so my c/c will be paid off whenever i just put all my car parts on c/c not really in debt but my crx takes a toll on my need to buy a house
