My ex, Clarissa, was hostessing at a restaurant in downtown ashEVILle, and Tom Cruise walked in (he had a house in Biltmore Forest at that time, since sold it). Tommy boy is super short, and was with some 5'11" model that made him look like a midget. It was a busy night, and Dear Clarissa was somewhat shocked. When Tommy boy asked for a table upstairs, she didn't know what to tell him, so she told him the dining room was booked solid, sorry I can't get you a table. Heh. Apparently Tommy boy isn't used to rejection, so he just looked at her funny for a second until it sunk in, and he left.

I met Willem DaFoe. My boy Justin found out he was in the bar next to us, somehow got him to come in for a round of drinks on Justin (Justin has a HUGE personality, could have been a movie star, currently serving year 2 of 3 for fraud). So, this was shortly after Spiderman, and I was expecting something from seeing DaFoe as he Green Goblin... well, I just got as far as shortly. Willem DaFoe is like 5'5", 110 lbs. It's all camera angles. Just like ****. Nice guy, but he has to be slung like a hamster... the money gets him laid.

Andy McDowell. Complete bitch. She still owns a house in Biltmore Forest, can't wait until her sandy vaj leaves.

When I worked at Magnolia's downtown, Angela Taylor (she's ------- HOT, will post a pic later) got a case of the freaked-out nerves and dumped a huge grilled chicken salad + honey mustard dressing on Lyle Lovett when he was eating lunch with his daughter. She froke the ---- out and burst into tears, and I had to clean up after her and wait on him after that point. I'd never had an opinion on Lyle Lovett before that, except he helped perpetrate that twangy homosexual post-1985 "country" bullshit and was married to that horse-teeth ugly Julia Roberts -----. Well, he was super ------- cool about everything, nice as hell. Angela ruined what was probably a $1000 suede leather jacket he was wearing, but he didn't bat an eye and pressed $$$ into my hand to give to her because he felt bad for her, and didn't want Angela unhappy. He said some nice things about her at his concert that night, too. Makes me hope he learns how to play real music, and gets an attractive wife. That goofy looking ----------er deserves it.

Anthony Hopkins asked me for the time outside Melanie's, the juice bar he frequented when they were filming Hannibal downtown. Polite, aloof. Can't say I'd be otherwise with how people freak out over celebs.

Hannibal wrapped up filiming and half the cast went home the day before their after-filming dinner at Magnolia's. I met the director, and most of the supporting cast. Everybody high profile aka "important" had already left for home.

I met whatshisface who played Archie Bunker on All In The Family. He said BD could knock the bottom out of his daughter anytime

I worked on a framing crew for a minute with a guy who spent most of his time leading a crew of hollywood set carpenters. He did Carrie 2, Scream, and a couple of others. I forget who he said was a huge fat ***** (several), but apparently Sandra Bullock and the guy who was in Cocoon/did the Quaker Oatmeal commercials are good old fashioned good folks.

Hope Nichols, ex of Sugar Smack, who did some vocals on the live Pigface album Truth Will Out, Ten Ground And Down and Hips **** Lips Power! are the tracks to check out, gave me a ******* ~ 8 years back after a Projekt Pitchfork concert. She looked okay then, but looks like hell now. What do you expect of a rivet ****? Ridden hard, put away wet.

I've met a bunch of musicians. ---- most of them. The ones who are good people:

Charles Levi of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult
Neils Van Hoornblower of Myrmyr and LPD
Curse Mackey of Evil Mothers/Pigface, married to one of the strippers from the U2 Zooropa tour. My ex-gf Danielle had a thing for him, ended up sleeping with him
Richard 23 and Patrick Codenys of Front 242, the best live band I've EVER seen.. sarcastic as hell, takes a second to realize they are mocking themselves and not you
JG Thirwell of Foetus... he did part of the NIN remix album Fixed, for you no taste mainstream homos, and the Venture Brothers theme song
Peter Murphy of Bauhaus/80's-90's pop solo career

I will second and even third that Front 242 is one of the best live bands ever. I saw them at Lollapalooza 93 when I was almost done with highschool, which tells you how old I am

I saw them at the Metrolina Expo in Charlotte, Lollapalooza '93, also.

Really, though, '97-99 they were cutting it the ---- up. Saw them '98 in Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte... Projekt Pitchfork opened for them, and I though PP was really good, but F242 ------- OWNED. F242 and LPD are the only two bands I've ever seen that made the whiny ****** goth scene in Charlotte happy.

Always loved the music, could never stand the people in the scene. I guess that's why they liked me
