ok.. well since we're on the topic of k series engines. anyone notice the s2k head looks alot like a rsx-s head? hrmm.... do they share certain features. this leads me to believe that the rsx-s trans might bolt up to a s2k motor.. wait, FWD S2000 engine in a civic si !!! ? no way.!?. i wanna find out.

na, i doubt it, they look kind of similar, but the s2k engine is like an f20c or something, not even a k, so i doubt it, but in a post a while ago, there was a guy who made a gearbox for the s2k engine to be fwd, then you just have to fab it into your bay. imo, just buy an s2k

Its all relative man. true for a tuner/ boostaholic like most of us are this car is not as ready for boost as a stock silvia motor. but as for making a mistake, Mr. Honda is still getting rich. He wasnt thinking about us, bastard.
The new civic is differnt no doubt! To tell you all the truth, i really didn't like the 96+ civics when they came out either, I thought they were ugly. But as time passes by, And technology changes, the civic si will be a key player in the honda/acura enthuiest world! I don't know why honda is attempting to make there cars harder to mod though! That is like there catch/vice, why change that?

Why change that you ask... im no expert but living in the world ive learned a lot about business... i think honda is making their cars harder to mod for the same reason they declined to donate cars to be viewed in the fast and furious 2 movie. they dont want parents who pay for the cars to think they are race cars cuz their kids wont get ----. They know real enthusiasts will figure the modding part out and theres not much to modding a 200hp engine.. you turbo that ---- and ur making 300hp in a light car so...
So basically it boils down to business and honda covering their *** for safety and security reasons

I don't know what the ---- they were thinking when they decided to put a rally style shifter comming out of the dash. that is by far the gayest thing honda ever did. the style is growing on me though.
