btw, I wouldnt recommend a welded diff for street use, its a bit harsh on a fwd car.. Beau did it to his turbo b16a crx for awhile.
I would go for a spool kit baby..

basicly the phantom grip puts extra load on the spider gears causing the to get extreamly hot, they get so hot that they loose thier clearnce on the diff pin when this happens the spider gears will start to freeze up on the diff pin causing it to spin when this happens your fucked.
Im sure jef has some pics still of his diff that the bunny dedstroyed.

ps after 3 months(1000+ miles) of street driving with a welded diff it should no signs on cracks or stress after about 500 miles and 10 launches the bunny grip was done.
