Re: Where do i get D series pistons
wow 500 dollars total budget? What kind of glass dick are you smoking from!?
but seriously, if you are planning to get into this project with only 500 dollars, you should start getting used to your stock bottom end...

Post up on the WTB Section. It seems that you need to do a good bit of research before jumping in on this. Saving money couldn't hurt this project at all.
For $500 you're probably going to be looking to buy
HF Mani
Used T3 or DSM Turbo
Adapter Plate for the mani to the turbo
used or SSAuto WG and BOV's
Mild Steel mandrel bends(cheap now check for sale forum)
DSM 450cc Injectors
There are obviously a few things missing but you get the picture.

Re: Where do i get D series pistons
I built my kit for $800 but that was because I got a bunch af free stuff. Free bov and some charge piping. It took me about 6 months worth of waiting to find the real cheap stuff. Oh thats not with a built bottom end only stock.

Re: Where do i get D series pistons
Try to keep your eye out for some good used ones. That will be your best bet. My SRP's were $425, rings $80, and rods $300. Vitara's are out of a Vitara lol Susuki I believe. Why don't you just piece you together a kit and low boost. Just find another engine to build on the side. .
