Yeah, it was kind of a shame because CCA seemed like nice people.... but when they posted up their shiny new SSAC product line they denied it was cheap chinese knockoffs.

Kinda ironic that last nite I was searching for CCA's site to no avail. I was trying to find out how much hp my 6" FMIC is good up to.

All I could find:

http://www.alibaba.com/company/10245899.html
http://www.streetperformance.com/ind...dlisting=23306 (link goes to a spam website, guess they gave up and spambots took over)

JRC was buying Ford Powerstroke ICs for ~$200-230 and cutting them into ~3 ICs and making new endtanks. Viable for a DIYer, IMO.

JRC and CCA FMIC's were nothing special. JRC was a 2" core with no bottoms for $200. Now you can go on egay and get an intercooler an inch thicker for $100. Honestly, I think the market won and I'd imagine Tyrus is better off welding aluminum for some company making $20+ an hour.

Well I didn't want to just come out and say it. It sucks because they were always anti-SSAC and all about quality and making ---- right, then they spammed that chinese ---- all over the place like we were supposed to accept it and buy it. They were surprised at the reaction they got from it, which doesn't make sense to me. I wonder what happened to them?

After they left HMT I tried searching for them to see if they still offered the smaller ICs through their site but nothing, even dead links through the SRT-4 forums where they sold stuff.

They also sold fake titays

When I discovered the fake ***** being sold on ebay, that was probably one of the most shocking/hilarious things I've ever found out about someone.

Don't throw them in the same boat, though. JRC couldn't keep up with the chinese bs so gave up that end. CCA was done fine as far as I could tell but decided to start selling cdm ---- out to wazoo and was probably the reason for their demise.
