*** im not sure what to get, i read ---- LCD's have better contrast and colour but the viewing angle is ---- compared to a plasma, and pricewise there is not much difference now.
Im really likin the Samsung Plasma's, they are sexy as hell with great specs for around 2 grand.

Good article http://www.flattvpeople.com/tutorials/lcd-vs-plasma.asp
Viewing Angle Up to 160° (PLASMA) Up to 175° (LCD)LCD TVs have the advantage here, but by a small margin. Your viewing experience is not going to be ideal at 160 or 175 degree angles. LCD TVs used to have a problem in this area, primarily because LCDs were originally used as single person computer monitors.

Buy it at Sears, I've worked there for two years in electronics. New panasonic Plasma, rated highest nearly three years straight. On sale right now for $1099. And kicks the ---- out of Samsung's plasma's. If you were local I'd give you my 10% discount. Goes for anyone in NW WA
