haha, hmt is broken in this thread.

it's all about rotational inertia, which is proportional to mass times distance from the axis. so a lighter, smaller rim will be the best, and a big heavy rim will be the worst. I know because I got a 4 on my ap physics test, bitches.

Good way to be.. We don't have to take 4 years of each subject, only english and history, so I'm saying screw it to science :P

thirtangs but i keep them clean! these are the lightest rims your gona find. it was a night and day difference going from 15 to 13.... but im not sure if a big baller can adjust from 17's to thirtangs

well after filtering through all the crap....... i the 17's still look sweet but weigh in at 40 lbs with tires. some light 15's weigh in around 12 lbs plus tires. the falken azenis have some nice thick sidewalls for handling but also weigh 22 lbs. so actually the unsprung weight differance is only 6 lbs at most. the other thing i've been thinking is that the rotational inertia is cut by the smaller rim but then increased by the heavier tire so how much differance would it make?

inertia matters quite a bit. there have been many articles written about this issue do a search on google even and you'll find it. but if you still dont believe the engineers then why dont you just try them yourself... try to launch at 4k with a 13" rims and then try it with 17's. I promise you'll notice quite a bit difference if you car isnt making 500+HP
