Married going on 4 years this july. I'm 26 with 2 boys, one is going on 6 in a couple weeks and the other will be 3 in August. I have 3 cars, a truck, and a mini van. I own my own house and just recently started my own business....

I just graduated from school last year after 5 1/2 years in school (5 1/2 years is whats required for my degree so no I didnt graduate late) now I make diddly squat and banks turn up their noses when I walk in the door asking for a loan (I need a car BAD!)... I make less now then when I went to school.

I know it was worth it, but sometimes I just feel like it was a big Freakin waste of time. Because Im pretty much in the same position then when I went to school, only I have a 30k piece of paper hanging on a wall.

Most of my friends have houses and stuff now. One just went out and bought matching dirt bikes for him and his wife. Here I am driving an '83 VW diesel Rabbit (Im borrowing) and painting my GF's mom's house for extra cash on the weekends. But hey I went to school !!

im 20 with a 2 year old son a house, 4 freaken cars only 1 i really like , and a piano store with school that was handed down to me....and im pretty happy with my life

I know 'teg I always tell myself Im building character...but sometimes damnit I think I have enough damn character. I do have a good job now though (working at the family firm) and am working through trying to do right and now that I have been working about a year I think the banks look a little more favorably on me (damn greedy money -----s) Their is light at the end of the tunnel though..

I got to test drive some awesome cars over the weekend and met with a couple of sales people that really think they can work me a deal (god bless those greedy *** shisters!)
So maybe in a few months ...I can roll in something Mice havent nested in..

It all takes time man, I just started my business and it is really slow. That is why I'm here on the net all the time. What I do is install floors. I have only had just a few jobs since x-mas. It'll pick up eventually, So basically I'm in the same boat as you right at this point in time. I'm basically starting over and it sucks to have to wait. But just like you it will be worth it in the long run. On average I should be able to pull in $3-400 a day by myself and on a good day myself I should be able to bring home upwards to $6-800 a day(mind you this isn't gonna happen to often) So just keep your head up man theres lots of us going through the same ----
