hey everyone, i didnt want to do this but after giving ghetto-d(albert) plenty of time/chances to get ahold of me i had no choice... i got in contact with albert on hmt we talked a few times and we worked out an agreement for him to help me with my turbo kit and make the piping. well the piping turned out good ive had a few problems with the work that he did(like making the return line to long, causing alot of oil build up in the turbo) and he also misinformed me about a few things(such as: the o2 wire was sitting on the manifold, so i asked him if that was safe( i told him that i thought it would melt) and he said "no that ---- wont melt because the wire is made for high temp" he even said that you would need a special kind of wire cutter to cut it, well i listened to him and i was wrong for doing so because that ---- melted. But after all that i still didnt have a problem, we did the install in mid dec and due to some problems we didnt get everything done that day so we agreed that i would come back up to his house(keep in mind im in san diego and he is up by anaheim) for him to install the oil gauge, and intercooler(he had to mod. the ends for the intercooler to work) also he told me to buy a turbo muffler and he would put that on(he didnt do that either). well he said "come back next weekend and ill have the intercooler done" i came back up(now this is about a wek into jan) he still didnt have it done so he even offered to mail it done to me by the next weekend. after waiting another week i started to p.m. him on hmt (i told him that i needed the intercooler by the following week) no reply so i called his cell phone(last thursday) and asked if he would just mail the intercooler down to me and i would pay the cost of shipping.... i could tell he didnt want to do that... he then offered to meet me half way(just north of the s.d. county line) i waited all day still didnt hear from him so sunday i sent him another p.m. (no response) and now i called his cell and he doesnt have voice mail(for me to leave a message) and he doesnt answer. so i feel i have been more than cool about all the delays, but now this is getting a little strange.. the reason i say strange is because i allready payed him( and when i gave him the money he even said that it was more than he expected. (i have a wittness)) i thought he was paid well considering: he said "pay me what you think my time is worth" i know albert knows alot of you guys on hmt so im asking for help.... i need a way to get ahold of him(besides drivng over 100 miles each way) of is someone can relay this to him. thanks for any help---steve

no i dont feel he owes me money, he just owes me the intercooler that ive been waiting for(and paid for)

Albert is a good guy, i just haven't seen him much on HMT lately.

I know Steve, he is a honest and helpful person. Sucks to see guys like this get taken advantage of. Steve I'll be calling you in a week or so when I'm ready to get on my tubo stuff. Let me know when you're ready to pop in that Si tranny!

I bought some ---- from him (intercooler/boost gauge) and was actually kind of impressed how fast he moved in shipping the stuff, He's a good guy to deal with....

And I dont mean to flame you or anything, but you ask a guy for an install that is a regular to a site called "Homemadeturbo", where half the posts are **** and the other half involve the joys of blowing out ringlands. N

What in God's Green Earth made you think someone here would give you a full waranteed install job, without a shop, or proper credentials? Its Called Homemadeturbo for a reason, its a DIY site, its not "Contractinstallturbo.com". Nor is it "Babysitterturbo.com".....

look speedy jay im not complaining about work done or wanting a warranty i said my issue is that he will not give me my intercooler that i paid for and now he wont answer my calls or emails, i never said anything about a warranty im just tryin to find some one who is in contact with him to relay a message to him so i dont have to drive 200 miles just for him not to be home......again THIS IS ABOUT AN INTERCOOLER THAT I PAYED FOR, THAT HE HAS YET TO GIVE ME

I just got my manifold from him today. Took him awhile but that was because the flanges took forever to get to him. He takes awhile to answer his pm's I've noticed. Well from my expierence dealing with him, he came off as a good guy. Hope it gets resolved soon.

I haven't seen him posting much so I would imagine he is very busy with something at the moment. I'm not saying that's a valid excuse or that he isn't doing something wrong, I'm just saying.....
