well... you do know why they have it in the front right? its because some police cameras at redlights only capture the front of the cars, but not the back and visa versa.
plus they sell things where if yourgoing and the littlest ammount of rind resistance pushes them up and flat. or yoy can mount them on a hinge and go. when your stopped thats fine. when your moving, boom, back down again.

i just got a 101$ ticket for no front plate about a month ago, i even had my plate in my dash!!! cop was just being a dick!!! the grand total of the ticket ended up being 630$$$$ b/c i didnt have proof of insurance on me!!! the cop also said he was going to give me a ticket for my front windshield b/c it has a crak in it!!! i mean WTF is that!!! but anywas im taking it to cort b/c on the top of the ticket there are 2 boxes one that says traffic and one that says non traffic....yea well the idiot checked traffic and that means it gos on my record which is bullshit!!! its a ------- liscense plate!!!
also if u look up the RCW code it says that u can get a special permit from the DMV that allows u to have no front license plate!!! so i think im going to look in to that.

for the record: pulled over 4 times for no front plate. 2 warnings in the CRX by Snohimish county, 1 time in the GTI ticketed by Snohimish County, once in the GSR warning by Everett Police....
think i will make a bracket and mount up the plate on the GSR...sence i dont really have a good reason for it not being there...

We're required to have a plate here in IL. I've always just run it because all my cars have the mounts for it. If they didn't...well then that'd be a different story.
I don't get harassed for anything other than my car being loud and me doing 2nd gear pulls right past a police officer headed the other way. They tend to think that sort of thing is "disrespectful."
