I used to me a clieche skater (inline and board), broke and rolled too mnay ankles, so i turned to pot for a couiple years...kinda sucked. Quit that ---- and took up guitar and bass guitar, still do those tho, not as much anymore. Cars basically keep me outta trouble, i havent smoked in 3 years, and if you knew the crowd here where i live its a good accomplishment

My biggest hobby is engineering, any form of engineering. That's how it has always been, and cars fall under that criteria.
Electronics, mechanical, etc.
I've been into electronics pretty much since I was born. I've built countless electronics devices. I've been studying engines for quite long as well.
I built a box car with a briggs engine when I was 12 and I put another lawn mower engine onto a bicycle when I was 14.
The car had a V band belt and a pedal operated tensioner for a clutch, the gears were all out of bicycles and the chains suffered under the power of the 125cc 3.5hp Briggs & Stratton that ran on avgas. It even had a battery and some electricals, had camber in the steering and could spin the bicycle tires on dry tarmac. Fun times. One of the neighbours did alert a TV news programme who came by to check it out one day.
The bicycle was nothing fancy, just had a wheel turned down in a lathe, groves cut into it with an angle grinder and attached to the crankshaft on a 75cc italian motor of some sort. This output wheel then rested on top of the rear tire and the motor was attached to the frame. Starting was with the pedals and stopping was by the brakes. Throttle was thumb operated.

skateboarding, I still do it every now and then like once or twice a month if I'm lucky, just not enough time, few of my freinds who I skate with stuck with it and now are sponsored two by the fl project, and another was sponsered by hellebellies. Thats all I really did from the age of 11 to 16 than I started working all the time, it is the shiznit.
I did a little freestylin too, but I would'nt call it a hobby more or less something when goofing around or when I use to smoke weed. I pretty much just skated all the time thats all I cared about, No one could tell you what to do, or if you messed up it isn't going to cost you hours of your time to fix well maybe but you see what I'm saying.

my first passion was computers which i still love, i was really involved w/ the security end of it. rooted a few boxes but then got in trouble, lost my internet privilages for a while, and whats a comnputer w/ out internet: useless to me. i didn't know a damn thing about cars untill i got my 3rd one which is my honda. now i love hondas and know much more about cars and how they work.
I also used to play guitar all the time, going on 7 year now, but since i was 15 i've smoked a lot of pot and it kinda unmotivated me to do anything. my car would have been turboed 4 times over if it wasn't for pot, and i'd be a killer guitar player and who knows what else.

i used to be into computers like crazy but after highschool it kinda fell off. haha. now its just cars. well ive been into cars for like evaRR when i got my crx when i was 15 . am now 21

skateboarding for awhile in highschool til i got some ----- and a car, then it was just ----- for a long time, always been into cars and past couple years got into guns and tattoos. pussies stayed constant

well, I was into playing the guitar all through high school. Even got into a band and played 80's Heavy Metal and Speed Metal crap... Slayer, Dark Angel, Megadeth, C of C, ol' skool Metallica, blah blah..... yeah I'm old.
Then for some reason I got into the "Rave" scene and religiously went to underground rave stuff.... then the **** started multiplying... so I left that ---- alone. Still likes the music, but never again will I step into an underground rave club.
Got married and bought myself a brand new civic EX in 99. Marriage sucked and found myself playing around my civic more and more to get away from my (ex) wife. I met a few people in the scene and have been doing this honda-turbo stuff since. I love to fabricate and improvise. I guess I will be doing this for a while.............
