How is it the *** fucked end? He stated for 2 weeks that he had the money and up to 2 days ago I asked him what day he was coming up to get it and it was still on. Now he said.
hey, i got some bad news. im not going to have enough
money, i guess i figured how much i had wrong. after
paying for a trailer and gas in a big truck to come up
there im not going to have 1500 which is what you want
for it i sent you 300 as a deposit. ive been thinkin
about my money all day trying to see if i could come
up with more but all i could bring if i came up this
weekend is another 900. and im in school making like
150 a week so i doubt i could come up with the rest
very quick. so unless you guys can drop your price im
afraid im going to have to ask for the deposit back
and not buy your car. sorry if i have wasted your
time.
But it's damn straight you wasted my time and being able to sell the car to another person who was inline to buy it and then got something else instead. Hell look on ebay and try to find a person selling a car and requires a deposit. It's just common sense that it's nonrefundable. It's someones wasted time and money. So after that much time he figures he not gonna have enough? Wouldn't of you done your homework before hand and had everything planned out before you sent a deposit to buy a car?

How is it *** fucked? Because you're going to ---- him out of $300 and he only makes $150/week.

I'm not saying you're right or wrong for doing it, I'm just saying he's getting fucked weather it was known or not. Put the shoe on the other foot..........

It's calling planning. Alright I need 1500 to buy this car. I'll need X amount extra for a trailer, truck, gas to get a car 4 hours away. Naw I won't think of this until I put money down on the car and tell the person the day I'm gonna come pick it up and pay the rest of the money.
It's like hey, I'm gonna go on a trip and pay for my hotel and have them reserve my room. Hmmm after I paid for my hotel I don't have enough for a plane ticket 4 days prior to the date of arrival when you had 2 weeks to plan accordingly. Now the hotel lost out on that room it gave the money back after it was paid for and reserved for when they could of rented it out to someone else. But instead they have that room reserved. Thats called ***------- yourself on not thinking.

It's your call. I believe in Karma. If you were in his shoes what would you want to happen? Regardless of how dumb he is or whatever the case may be. ---- happens. If I had to sit in a house with no electricity because some guy fucked me out of $300 I would be getting some serious revenge.

your right dude.

taking a deposit means the seller is a nice guy and willing to wait for the rest of the cash. the deposit never goes back to the buyer. it shouldnt. making a deposit shows commitment on the buyers side. dont feel bad for keeping the money, thats your compensation for your time

Give me half of the deposit and we'll call it even and you'll only have to feel half as bad :P

I was giving him free axles, a chipped ecu, and whatever else I had to help him with getting his swap done that wasn't even included with the shell. Now tell me how thats Karma. I was helping him and giving him a helping hand and not having to buy that stuff. So much for being nice. I'm not Hindu so Karma can eat ----. It's not done ---- for me.

Guys,
Seriously. Give the guy a break. He made a mistake, it can happen to anyone. ---- happens. Jesus, you're all so close minded. Hasn't anyone here ever made a mistake before? No one is perfect. If things don't necessarily work out as planned, you can't just kick someone in the *** for it. Life is full of ups and downs and sometimes things just don't work out no matter how hard you try. Seriously dudes, give the guy a break. He made a mistake, it wasn't on purpose.
