So if you were sick could you go today and see a doc? Im not bashing I honeslty want to know if it works just as seemlessly as everyone wants to believe. I mean is it that easy?

Yer serious? Yes, if i had a sore throat or something today, i could walk into a medicentre and see a doctor more than likely inside of 30 minutes. Or i could go to my family doctor and get the same results. The only time i have to pull out my wallet, is for the $5 of a persciption that isn't covered by my drug coverage(provided by my employer). I can't even imagine how you guys as a civilized society don't have a better health care system.

I will take this minute to remind people of the numerous threads started by cannuks bitching about the wait for healthcare. the one kid was getting dizzy feared a head injury or something and they just sent him home like 3 times I think? Our healthcare is going out of control costwise right now BECAUSE the gov't is forcing the industry to treat everyone aside from wether they can pay for it or not. That puts the cash burden on the paying citizens through high health insurance, or in your case the taxes. Different way of doing the same thing... stealing the hard working people's money.

Meh, i've had a lot of experience with our health care system, both myself and with very close family, and i'd say i'm 95% happy with everything. I was born with a fucked up foot and was never supposed to walk, i'm perfectly fine. 3 years ago my mother had a brain tumor removed only a week or two after being diagnosed. The only negative experience i've had was a botched hernia surgery my father had, which was quickly fixed after some sever swelling on his junk. Lol, our system if FAR from perfect, but it sure as ---- beats no system at all.

Are you getting any other pains with it? I had the same problem, mostly mucus, tiny bit of blood, chest pains, then I had full out attack the one day, turns out it was pleurisy, and I could've died from that ----. Go to the docs pronto

yeah i agree. go see a doc. last night me and a few friends were drinking and got to the last beer. we started fighting over it. my friend weighs in at 284 and i weigh 176. he had me pinned on the ground and i picked him up and started to roll him off and he landed on my ankle. my girl heard my ---- pop about 8 times from about 10 feet away. today its swelled up and hurts so bad that i have taken 2200 mg of hydrocodine acetamenophine. ( im not going to argue the percent of hydrocodine with whoever that was like last time) my ankle is swelled like hell and hurts around the achilles tendon. i havent gotten my health insurance card from the state yet and dont want to go to the er till i have to so im waiting till tomorrow when they are going to fax my health insurance to the doc and let me come in. this sucks.
