I'm going to re-do my exhaust, since my turbo project is almost done, but I was wondering what you guys would have to say. Stock I think it's 2 1/4,

OPTION 1: I want to run 2 1/2 with only a high flow cat and a tip, no muffler. But how loud is that going to be on the highway?

OPTION 2: 2 1/2", high flow cat, and one of those mugen style loop mufflers?

I'm up to suggestions, I will be running a 95 del sol vtec (B16A3) with a 1g mitsu turbo (TD05H) at .5 bar. Should I make it, the exhaust larger? Duals (gonna be hard because of the gas lines)? Glasspack with muffler?

cat and no muffler is going to be stupid loud... like, ticket kidna loud. definately get yourself a decent muffler. my cousin got a new one that sounds good, but i can't remember the name. i'll call him tonight find out. i've road in his car, and it's throat-ty on on te street, but not overbearing on the highway.

I have 2.5in piping from the cat-back. Got a comptech 2.5in Resonator on ebay ... then a magnaflow 2.5in Muffler and it has a deep as tone. Its only raspy when you rev past 5500rpm

I was rolling around for 2 weeks with just the piping and the muffler... that was super hella loud... especially on the highway, not to mention annoying as ----...

this guy sells the resonators... theyre just cosmetically defective(meaning they have minor bumps dents and or scratches, but who really cares how it looks) I know theyre worth more than the 20 something bucks hes askn for em.

So I guess your all telling me to run 2.5" piping, with a res and muffler. But what size cat should I get so that I can still pass my emissions test.

I've never bought a cat before so I'm not sure if displacement means to much in size if you have to replace it more often. Any answers for me?
