Nitrous is fun but dangerous. Back 4 years ago or so at an IDRc event at Palmdale LACR a guy had a really rigged kit. Had the nitrous on a button and the scholar was pressin the button when the car was off but was sparyin into the manifold basically makin a bomb. When he started the car kaboom the car caught on fire blew the hood off and trashed the car. Lucky all the ricers had fire extinguishers and put the car out. It actaully made it into a bunch of magazines. Classic watchin the crowd all curl down when the car started up gotta love so cal. Well buy from companies that dont rig parts nos,zex these companies are known for quality so ya dont buy.

haha now when someone baggs on the fire thing there gona tell them that story when they used it, and say it does have a purpose

a local guys 60k+ supra burnt to the ground this past summer at the strip from a nitrous explosion, no fire crew was on duty, and the track wouldn't call fire and rescue, he watched his car burn to the ground, even the rims melted he was running high 10's in full street trim with completely stock suspension

yeah i heard about richards little melt down. ONe of my friends told me with the insurance money he got another one same as the last?

well off all rice things the fire extinguisher actually can serve a purpose I have seen a couple cars catch fire. If people around him didnt have any fire extingushier the car would of burnt down to the ground for sure and would of been very dangerous once the fuel tank caught fire could of been very ugly

from what I've heard those cheap chrome OBX and other generic "ricer" pillar extinguishers aren't approved for for fires other than minor electrical..anyhting bigger and you'll need a REAL extinguiser.

Yea my buddy threw a 100 wet shot into his stock ls teg. Went good for about 3 weeks, 6 bottles. I knew it was just a matter of time before something went. He was spraying against a stang on the highway and a leakly fuel line cought the nitrous and BOOM, big fire right in front of him at 90mph. Luckily he was able to pull over and take care of it. Needless to say, no more teggy
