I am in a delima right now as well. I finished high school in 02 and started at USC. I felt the same way, I didn't really care about college but my parents were dead set on making me go, so I went, now this is the end of my second year and I am failing 3 classes.
I always did good in HS but college is different, you actually have to study hard. I tried to tell my parents that I was sick of it but they wouldn't listen so ended up failing 3 classes.
Now my dad's pissed cause I shoulda told him I wanted to quit. Now it looks like my Life scholarship is gone and I have to pay back a $8000 lown. This really sucks. I'm thinking about going into the reserves now, and then going to a tech college for automotive classes.

I figured though at least get out and get my BA(BS...lol) and then get everything straight, I'd hate to through away all my good grades from high school that got me into college to begin with. REAL life blows 
I wanna go back to being a little kid, lol

i changed my major 13 times so i just ended up getting my associates in liberal arts becuase with that you can get a bachlors in anything and hopefully you will have decided by your bachlors what you want to do with life.
but then again i am a nerd and i actually like school so what ever. but i really didnt have much of a choice because i graduated hs when i was 16 and i couldnt exactly go travel the world or get a decent job so i went to school and now i am 20 and almost done with my bachlors.

I was forced into working 60 hour weeks when I was 16 and have had the same job since. I had no clue what I was going to do and until the time came, I couldn't imagine myself working an 8 hour day. I was scared about what I was going to do and I didn't want to be a loser like the rest of my friends. I know college wouldn't have been an option for me though. They usually don't accept people who generate straight F's throughout an entire school year.

I'm still a Junior in HS, but I've already gone to colleges and tech schools and am very certain as to where I am going, and I already know what I'm going to be doing. Not many adults can even say that. Anyways, I'm beginning to save money now so that after post-school (tech or college) I can hopefully have some money to go on. I'd really like to mod my CRX right now, but my money, I think, will do better in the future than right now. The CRX will just have to wait a few years to get the stuff she deserves...

good to hear everyone responses. yah im prolly going to attend that community college for a while get some basics out of the way and at the same time get my own place and see how it is.
