ya, 10-14 is pushing it, turbohf put a small hole in one of his when he was boosting about 11. you should look for some metal piping, they throw away smaller pieces at exhaust shops, so check out behind them. and pvc isn't that bad of an idea on the cold side of the ic, just make sure you get pvc glue so it doesn't blow apart.
