you can run 22's on stock steelies but its not the best way I did it way back in the day pulled 1.8 60's in my hatch. Really should invest in wider rims for full contact

20x8x14's on 14x6 lightweight rims, like TSW alpines I got for $15 each.

most manufacturer's reccomend not to run more than 1" difference between the width of the slick and the width of the rim for best contact, but if you're just looking for a slick that you can throw on a common rim/steelie, they still work fine, just not as good as they could. what size slick you need to go with really depends on how much power you plan to make.

I'm running 22x8.5x13 on ASA rims. Bitch to fit. I had to get ARP Wheel Studs ans about 3/4" of spacers in behind, and still had to grind my DA Sized Brake ALOT!

bite me

2.0 was the best i could get out of them at PIR...but PIR sucks for traction too. also still peglegging it. to me they just felt to small, i was damn near topping out 4th gear.

13.65@100mph

also, i had really bad luck with 12psi in them, couldnt get better than 2.1 60ft...upped to 16psi the next time i was out there and was getting good 2.0 fairly consistently.
