what size slicks on what size rims
ok i have a 98ex and it has 14's stock but i was wondering if i could run the 13's from a 5th gen and possibly find some slicks to fit it if so can i get a little help on the dementions

most manufacturer's reccomend not to run more than 1" difference between the width of the slick and the width of the rim for best contact, but if you're just looking for a slick that you can throw on a common rim/steelie, they still work fine, just not as good as they could. what size slick you need to go with really depends on how much power you plan to make.

2.0 was the best i could get out of them at PIR...but PIR sucks for traction too. also still peglegging it. to me they just felt to small, i was damn near topping out 4th gear.

also, i had really bad luck with 12psi in them, couldnt get better than 2.1 60ft...upped to 16psi the next time i was out there and was getting good 2.0 fairly consistently.
