Default What should I do with this d16z6

I just bought a 93 Civic EX coupe. Its an auto and one of the slowest cars I have ever driven. I mean the thing is a dog, I get passed by every car on the road.

What should I do with it? If Im going to keep it and stick with the auto tranny? Give me some ideas of what you guys would do. Thanks

Swap a manual in it and boost it.

thats even more money. were did you buy this car from a private dealer or car company? I know you must have test driven it or something. Why did you buy it if it seemed that slow to you?

I got a badass deal on it. It has a few aftermarket parts that I can sell and make it an even better deal. It has a full exhaust (dc header, high flow cat, fart can), intake(I think its iceman or something), It has a JDM guage cluster, JDM radio, JDM climate control. Im planning on selling all that crap and just making it fast or rather faster haha.

Is it that bad to boost an auto? An auto swap is a pain in the ***.

its not bad to boost and auto, but your going to get laughed at. not trying to flame, just stating the truth.

plus i heard the auto tranny sucks when it's boosted. Its worth getting a swap but i would have hold out for a manual to save you the trouble. Oh well whats done is done. Sell the headers, radio, and climate control.

And the damn guages, never know how fast Im going. Whats 70mph like 110kph?

Anyone have an article on what goes into swapping a auto to a manual? I might just make this one back to stock and sell it.
