what to run my slicks at??

Default what to run my slicks at??

Going to the track today. I got some small slicks from a friend 22/8/15s mt et drags. Ive never used slicks before so what kind of air pressure should i start with?? Any tips??

I had some and ran them at around 12

those size slicks he's running need higher pressure like the 20x8x14's or 20x6x14's



start high 14 or so and work your way around. Bring an air tank if you dont have one buy one they are needed.

22x8x15 get the same pressure at 20x6x14, start at 14 psi and SPIN BABY!!!!!!!!!

Little D15 was too much for them even when dropped to 12-12.5 pounds.

My buddies turbo d15b vtec loved the 20x8x14's. 1.7 60's and 103 mph traps. Slicks were mine from the old school days bought them off a hybrid member back in like 2001. They get -----d out on all the broke trailer park builds.

I've went thru three sets of the 20x8x14's, LOVE THEM!!!!!

Next set wil go onto superlight weight Miata rims, but the slicks REALLY need a 7-8" wide wheel to work the best.

Ya they sure do. I have 22s on some vx rims Im intrested to see how they turn out

sweet! thanks for the info guys. Yea i got a mini jumper/ compressor im bringing just incase i need to raise the pressure a bit! I will let u guys know how it goes. Ive never driven my car on slicks
