LGVX6000 - Camera phone. 2 year contract. Decent signal just about everywhere I go but the battery has to be replaced after using it for a year. Haven't really tried surfing the web with it but I can AOL IM pretty well with it.

All the features I REALLY want require a four hour hassle to obtain, via datacable, a couple of bits of software, fiddling ---- repeatedly, etc. I got as far as upgrading my v3.10 copy of Motorola Phone Tools to 3.28, mistakenly selected my phone as E815 instead of E815x, and then couldn't change it back without uninstall/reinstall.

OBEX bluetooth file transfer, etc, would be very pimpy. Get a large-ish transflash card and use the phone as a wireless thumbdrive, internet access, they make great portable mp3 players, etc.

I got a 256mb card for it, but never could make the damn bluetooth adapter to work with the computer.

I purchased one of those usb to bluetooth adpaters, it will find the phone but after that I can't see it in my computer. Mobile Phone tools won't find it!!!! User error probably, but it pissed me off. I have to learn how to use that.

I really like the phone...

You have to fiddle the the E815's settings to broadcast, which is does for something like 60 seconds. THEN you pointy clicky on the computer side to find it. Bring up the phone's main menu:

Settings-->Connection-->Handsfree

That'll bring up the option telling you Bluetooth power is off, would you like to turn it temporarily on?

I have one, shittiest phone i have ever owned. I even changed the firmware and software on it to make it a little better and unbranded, still sucks... One thing i like about it, after i unbranded it, it holds over 400 pictures.

my favorite phone till this day is probably still my t610 unbranded
