To the jackasses at the beginning of the post (90dx and toughguy) I never said that Christianity/Judaism/Buddhism as religions as a whole arent without fault. But you don't see them flying planes into buildings now do ya :1 If they did, I would not condone their actions just like I don't condone to the islamic extremists.
Nope, the crusades was the major thing they did. And funny you ask about the pedophile priests, for my religions class we took a trip to a eastern orthodox place where monks basically dont do squat but pray, let me tell you its a hip and happenin place 
.... anyways I asked him what his stance was on the molestation of choir boys/other children by priests and he said verbatim: "Priests are people too, they are not without sin... It's those psychologists and lawyers that are doing everything wrong. They say that the priests need to go to a nut house for a couple months and they'll be fine! Then they get transferred and no one knows what happened." And then he continued on to say that Catholic priests are always considered priests no matter what, and thats a "major boundary" when trying to take them out of a church 
so according to them they could take a preacher from being in front of a church but he'd still be a preacher and still is supposed to be involved with churches, aka still around children 
Ridiculous, eh? Maybe if they let their priests get married instead of staying single for 40 years without being allowed to touch a woman, this wouldnt happen. Then again, my old pastor just got arraigned for molesting a 13 year old girl. ------ hyprocrites.
