what i have been up to lately...PICS!!
well as some of you know i hydro locked my boosted gsr a few months ago. that was sorta the stepping stone to my new biult motor and turbo kit. i dont have any pics of the motor biuld cause i didnt have my camera on me when i was doing it but have a few pics of the new turbo setup.
setup is as follows:
motor...:
-gsr block
-weisco pistons, 9.0:1, .20 over
-scat rods
-ARP head/main studs
-ACL bearings
-NEW itr oil pump
-All new OEM gaskets
-STOCK SLEEVES
-STOCK head
-GSR tranny w/ Type R LSD
-CLutch Specialties PP/ ACT 6 puck disk
Turbo Kit...:
-Precisions Sc6152E
-home made Ramhorn manifold
-Tial 38mm wastegate
-Greddy Type S bov
-Custom 2.5" charge piping
-3" downpipe with rerouted dump tube into a 3" K-teller exhaust...no cat/resonator, just summit racing 3" muffler
-Spearco bar/plate 8" front mount(borrowing it till i get the Precisions 8")
-RC 660cc injectors
-tuner toys oil line kit
-and some crome pro love from chris once i get everything hooked up, and we set a date to go to the dyno...looking to run about 18psi and make somewhere in the ball park of 400whp. All wedling was down with the smiley TIG. this is my first time ever tig welding too.
THE whole motor and turbo kit cost me about 2200 bux and the car when i bought it was 1000. so plus a little more i hav ebout 3500 bux into this car. not bad for potentially 400whp. now on to the pics
pic of the canidate...started out as a 95 LS, has 98+ bumpers/headlights, soon to have JDm front end and ITR 5 lug once i get some extra cash...
new interior...was tan when i purchased the car. type cluster...oooooo im a ricer!
RSX Type-S seats. had to make new brackets to fit. sit a little higher but i love em!
