Lol that would be the absolute worst thing ever for a turbo. Manifold that adds -80hp
i wanted to make some custom manifolds but thought it would be easier to but thease.. i didnt read that they were wet manifolds!
Becuase mass flow rate is what spins a turbo which is a property of heat therefore if you take away the heat you loose exhaust gas energy and in turn decrease spool time and overall turbo efficiency

its twin turbos are water cooled to...
damn.. those manifolds look restrictive as hell.. oh well.. i guess i could just chop off the connector.. and weld it to a custom turbo manifold?
i got screwed!
damn it, not really.. heres the turbos i bought too
there mitsubishi turbos made for the gm v6 4.3l
and since mitsubishi makes the turbos for the gmc typhoon and syclone.. i didnt hesitate to buy em...
i hate buyers remorse... nothing worse than saying i could have would have should have, BLEH!

one i just bought...
stock manifold..
*edit* just got a picture of the LH side mani. for better comparison
i feel alot better now.. i guess ill either chop it up, and make custom manifolds.. or ill just use them and not run coolent through em

Re: what the hell are wet exhaust manifolds?
the two front exhaust ports on the manifold only has one bolt hole, not two. i see a possible leak in the future. also on a v style engine the turbos are usualy relocated to where there is room for them, is there going to be room for the manifold and the turbo (which looks like it will connect directly to the manifolds side) in your engine bay? also is your 4.3 a tbi or one of the vortec engines?

ive got everything set and done.. just trying to figure out the best way to get extra fuel to the engine... i pray to god that thease mani's work out
