I just got my VAFC from a guy that lives by me ... and it's black!! BLACK!! Not blue ... but black. It's an Apex-I and it's a VAFCII ... but it's not blue. We wired it to Josh's car (becasue mines not VTEC ) And when VTEC is activated, the **** turns orange! From yellow to orange. It works the same and everything. Thought I would just share. - Matt

Its the newest ones, there only making a limited number of them, thats why they are so expensive, but you can get them for 290 on ebay. I told my local shop that and he told me thats how much they pay. THe guys on ebay get them directly from japan, when the stores here have to wait for them to be licensed or something for the states, and the cost soars for us buyers, becasue of all the crap apexi has to pay for to ge tthem here, im gonna get one, there nice looking.

It's not that I didn't want it, it's just that I wasn't expecting it. I guess I didn't even ask what color it was ... I just assumed it was blue like every other VAFC I've seen.

I have a black one in my civic and I like it alot better than the blue ones, it doesn't stand out as much. I gutted the cupholder of a 93' Civic and mounted it in there and I think it blends in alot better than if it was blue



It doesn't scream steal me.

Nah, the cupholder doesn't work anymore...I thought of that too but it was too much of a bitch. the cupholder's never worked anyways becuase its a 93 console in a 90' the top of the cupholder would hit the dash so you could never put a drink in it anyways. Also, since I spent all that money I want to see it all the time.
