Or if your reffering to a "Flate Rate" job, it's when you get paid by the job. Basically you get a set ammount of time to finish a job, and in order to make any money on it, you have to finish the job before the time is up... which means working FAST! I'm a Flat Rate technician at the bodyshop I'm at. It's not bad. Gives you a bit of a challenge everytime you have a new job, but it can also bite you in the *** if something goes wrong

That's why I won't work on peace work(same thing). There are too many things that can ---- up and bite you in the ***, especially when you don't know what you are getting into.

See, it's like this. If I need somebody "taken care of", I can just call Boost, Hotrex, or Xplocivic, and they beat people down for a "flat rate".
No matter how big they are, I only have to pay a set amount.

Flat rate rules, I average 120- 170 hours every two weeks. Mostly in the 130-140 range. I only work 9 hours a day and 5 days a week. Its like being on over time all the time! But when ---- goes wrong
