I think Bush is going to win again. We need an HMT election, put up a poll or sumshit.

Please expand on this. I think you're full of ----.
OK, I will break it down for you.
Republican: If you don't want a gun, don't own one, but don't tell me I can't have one.
Democrat: You can't have a gun, you might commit a crime and we can't have that.
Republican: If you don't like SUV's don't own one, but don't tell me they are dangerous. There is no evidence to prove they kill more people than any other vehicle.
Democrat: Ban SUV's they are dangerous. Because I say so.
Republican: Do retired people earning over $300,000 a year realy need social security? Lets talk about this.
Democrat: The Republicans are out to get old people, and they must be stopped.
Republican: Richard Nixon got caught ------- up. He resigned so he wouldn't hurt the United States and the office of the Presidency.
Democrat: Bill Clinton gets caught ------- up, lies about it under oath, debates the meaning of the word "is" and turns the office of the Presidency into one big joke.

You guys have to remember I am lots older than most of you. I remember the Carter years. Runaway inflation, sitting in long gas lines on odd number days and wondering if we would ever get the Iranian hostages back. Bill Clinton did better but only at the expense of our national security and the armed forces. That's how he balanced the budget, huge budget cuts to the military.

Ok, so they both have flaws, but I wouldn't think you guys are waiting for a "perfect" president.

I don't trust our government with my money, your money, or anybody else's money. That's one of the main reasons why I vote Republican. In general, the democrats want to tax the ---- out of everyone and shell it out to every social program there is. (Of course after the buerocrats (sp) get theirs.
In general the republicans say, "hey, we don't like taxing people to give it to other people". If one person can take care of themselves, why should they have to take care of someone else who won't? It's about personal responsibility. Something we're lacking more and more with every social program that they think up.

The death penalty. (good)

baby killers (that only get pregnant because they aren't RESPONSIBLE enough to not get pregnant) (bad)

Taxes (bad) especially when you target the rich (a.k.a. people who made something out of thier life and don't rely on the government.) And don't tell me about the rich people tax cuts. Arnold Swartzeneger payed 18 MILLION DOLLARS in income taxes in 2003. You and I will never ever pay anywhere close to that in our lifetimes, so I can't see how rich people aren't getting screwed. Percentage numbers don't mean ---- if I make $1,000 a year and some rich guy makes 10 million. If I pay 10% and he pays 5%, I'm still never going to pay anywhere near what he payed just in that year. This is just an example of how the democrats would love to punish people for being successful. What else would you call it? Shouldn't every single person pay exactly the same?

Gay Marriage (bad)I for one don't have to accept any new disqusting concept of a relationship that the next guy thinks of. You have the civil unions, which means you get ALL the same rights as married people, but you don't get to be called "married". That is the only thing they wan't is to be able to shove it further down my throat, and yours. They have the rights, we don't need to change our heritage and our history for these people. Next they'll come up with 3 way marriage and force us to accept that?

Custom Coach Intercoolers. (good)

The bottom line is, do you trust the government?? With Republicans you get less of what you don't trust, and with democrats you get your life run by it. Choose wisely.

stealth everytime you lay it down I believe in it, up to about 85%. you think the government shouldn't make decisions for you, so why ban abortions? if you don't want one don't get one, the legality of something doesn't mean you have to have it, like custom coach pointed out with the guns and the suvs. and as for taxes, yes if you make money you should be able to keep most of it, but what gets me are these people born into huge amounts of money, these are the people I hate based on a birth condition, no one else gets that glory from me. the graduated tax system is good because if you're making $1000 a year you're going to need all of that money just to stay alive, and if you're making $10million a year you aren't going to spend all that money on necessities. if you've done good with your life and you are making $10 million a year you deserve some nice things, you deserve quite a few good things, but then there's the person that didn't have the opportunities you had, made a few bad decisions and now the rest of their life they won't see more than $8 an hour, I have sympathy for these people because I know alot of them. they made the decision when they were young to not think about the future, to not finish school, to just live for then. and then is gone and we're currently at now and now they have no diploma, or no degree, the graduated tax system helps them to get a few nice things with their meager pay, while the richer people who have many more nice things pay a higher percentage to cover the difference. most social programs are stupid, so I agree that we don't need to be dumping taxes on that.

my proposal: pretty much keep taxes where they are, if I was really running for office I'd sit down and look at some numbers and decide what tweeking needs to go on. Cut all the BS social programs, in the 30s during the great depression the economy needed stimulation, so the gov't paid people to do random *** stuff, we don't need to pay people to do that anymore, do that ---- on your own time, not on my dime. welfare would be greatly reformed, I wouldn't put cash in people's pockets, I'd put a roof on their head and food on their table for short term until they figured out how to do it on their own.

I was raised mostly republican, but I've had some socialist influences (rage against the machine mostly) so I have views on both sides. elect me as stealthmode's vice president and we'll get ---- done, you guys just have to wait 17 years so that I'll be 35 when we go into office (as the law dictates)

We will have a HMT Presidential Poll on Monday

My guess its going to be a pretty close 50/50 on here just like the nation. I really dont think one party is going to win by a landslide either.

Me personally, there is no reason for me to vote for bush. Because its already in the bag for this state, Kerry's got his 11 EC votes here.

Dont think that way, you never know. If the media can convince enough people there is no point in voting they can turn the election. Take the time and try.

VOTE OR DIE! Or something?
