lol i had a guy i used to work with named steve. He would never shower and wore the same clothes to work usually for at least 4-5 days in a row, man he smelled like shyt... we called him stinky steve, or rigor mortis because he walks around like an ogre or somthing.

Quit being an invertebrate and just tell him. If you're discreet about it, you should be ok. He probably doesn't even know. Think about if the roles were reversed and you were the one that stunk, wouldn't you want someone to tell you? If, after you tell him, he doesn't do anything then you resort to the not so subtle hints that everyone has mentioned.
