Well my car did look stock, till i put on the bigger intercooler... Now it dosnt fit under the bumper... stick out the botom by bout 1 1/2 in... and i think ill need to fully cut out the grill to get the cover on...

So anyone have a name/ part number of a bumper that looks stockish, and is a little bit lower and sticks forward a little bit more... Any ideas other than cut out the bumper would

bottom of my IC sits flush with the rad support 1inch lower then the bumper
cut out the grill through in some black mesh and put a front lip on it
looks prety good (max rice i could handel)

uh. what? if you have to cut the grill out....and it sticks like an inch and a half past teh bumper im gonna go ahead and say ditch teh 900whp IC for something more suited for your build. sucks to have to get a new bumper so your 200whp build can breath through 800 hp worth of IC.

I mean just how fuckign huge is this thing and what car are you putting it on?

remove bumper support, cut grill out, raise intercooler....if you have already taken out the support then get a lip.

That is how my car is rockn' I should really get a new one, but we will see. I think I can make mine fit eventually.

how do you know how much hp im making?? Ill probly be in the range of 350- 400 depending on whether i want to get a new map sensor... I have a smaller ic, but it was to small and since i had to rework my charge piping for the new Manifold, i figured id put the larger one on.. oh and its on a eg coup

Pics would be cool...id like to see what it looks like before i do it..


I cut out he bottom of the bumper suport, dont want to remove completely .. ..

that's like saying removing the tab on a beer can is going to make the beer can crush easier.

Mine is cut 90 maybe 95% of the way through.

Mount where you want. Get out any cutting device. Then make bumper fit. It's all about hackage. Don't try to beat around the bush. You want a body kit so just admit it. Let me guess, the next post is gonna be for after you get that massive IC in. Your kicking so big of numbers that your gonna be asking what wing you'll need to keep that rocket on the ground.
