we've all done it
well yesterday i figured i'd drive the HB to work since it was going to be nice out,(only time it comes out of the garage) and i go to start it and bang crunch boom wtf sounded like a rod kissing the wall i get out pop the hood no oil or h20 on ground, no holes to see so I jump in the dailey and go to work all day long tryin to think what could of happened, didnt get anything done at work, i was just so upset because that was all i needed since im getting ready to slap on the boost next week. well the work day was over and going home to see if i was going to cry or what. well i poped the hood again and started looking around and found a little piece of plastic which looked to part of a fin from the rad.fan and looked some more and found a 10mm socket and a 10mm wrench laying on the ground which aparantly I left in close proxsimity to the fan. well when i started it they fell into the fan at the right angle and ruined my whole day moral make sure you pick up all your tools when finished working I'm laughing at myself today

i did that yesterday, i could not for the life of me get my hood to lay flush (i had just installed it so i figured it came out of adjustment becuse i didnt tighten something), but it turns out i had left the black fuse box lid ontop ot the black strut tower. I felt like a dumbass

I use some of the places under the hood for storage, I have unused bolts and screws all over under there. I have a rag stuck in the driverside mount for checking the oil or whatever and I have wires tucked places in case I need a jumper or something.
