What, you'd rather watch member and member get let down by these guys, rather that nip in the bud and save everyone else the headache?

Have you ever bought mandrel bends before? There not shiny those look brand new to me.I agree a better packing job would be nice but none the less you got exactly what they described.

No, I actually haven't bought these before. But these are REALLY dirty inside and out. The couplers look faded as hell. ANd the quality of the cuts is horrid. I'm going to have to do something to smooth them out real good or I'll end up with shards of metal in my motor...

It's black fiber-on-the-outside bends, a little dirt gets on them they look dirty. The fiber is great as they protect you from getting cuts in the connectors easily, which the pure silicone ones are really prone to. Wash them in soap and water, jeez.

There is nothing wrong with those mandrels. They come coated in cosmoline or some goo to prevent oxidation, and dirt and ---- from cutting them has gotten inside - boo ------- hoo. When you go to cut on them to make them fit your actual car, the same exact thing will happen. Wash them in soap and water, too.

As for the quality of cuts *shrug*. I cut the black fiber bits with a chop saw as anything else leaves them a little wavy. As for the quality of them sealing, that's not a problem at all. Welcome to HMT, you've got about what everyone else has. *shrug*

As far as the clamps, T-bolt units run about $3/per. For your average 5 to 6 hose connections you'd need 10-12 clamps. That's $30 right there, how much did you spend again? Uh huh.

Everybody wants low cost ----. Then some guy starts buying this ---- in bulk and marking it up a dollar and calling it a business. People buy because it's cheap, and the only reason it's cheap is because that's the only way for the new guy to make a name for himself, because everyone and thier mom sells it.
Making a dollar on the lowest cost ---- you can find (garbage) only leads you to throw the garbage in the box and get it gone. Although it's not an excuse for him, if you want something, pay for it. That's the only way it's going to work.

When I was selling purosil I cut it on a bandsaw. I threw away more than I actually shipped because cutting it is a bitch, and half of them weren't worthy of showing up with my name on them. It takes more than a website with flashy pictures to give your "company" the image it's going to need to survive.

I'd say in the ----- vs. quality U-bend market, LSD Mike is probably the safest bet.
