Default Went to the track :) and :(

My night was a mess, first three passes I spent trying to track down a noise that sounded like either the trans or rearend, ended up being a loose clamp on a charge pipe that was leaking massive mount of air. Next two passes where spent trying to figure out where the boost was set at again...with the before mentioned huge leak I had cranked down the boost controller in an effort to get it to boost higher. Going to check the datalogs later to see what my air temps where, but I bet they where nuts.

Got one decent pass in again at 25# against a nice and loud small block car.

Next pass I somehow botched going into second and hit the rev limiter pretty hard. Had some pretty nasty sounds after that. Got it home and popped the valve cover to find one rocker backed off far enough that the pushrod was just flopping and two other with the jamb nuts backed off a couple turns. All on the exhaust side.

Only got a couple more tries to get it into the 6's in the 1/8th

Starlets are for the ------- win. You'll get there.

My brother is in the process of building a 2RZ 81' model. It should make his 400hp MR2 look like a yugo.

Nice run, what was you 60' ? I test fitted some 26-8.5-15 slicks on the corolla and they fit. I am planning on going to epping on oct 4th for the import shoot out and see what i can run. I am putting a 4 bar map in the MS this weekend so i can up the boost,I maxed out the 2 bar the other week end. Are you running a 2 step?

60' on that run was a 1.55, tires are 235/50-15 M&H racemaster dot's
I put the mapdaddy sensor in my MS also, works great and price is great to boot.
I'm running MS2-extra and using it's 2-step. Was launching at 5600rpm with about 10# of boost, any more and it would loose traction about 20 feet out.

Going to try and go back out in a couple weeks.

That's pretty fast. Sounds pretty nasty too. Looks scary to drive to be honest. Good luck gettin' it sorted out.

I haven't hitched up the 2 step yet. I was looking at the datalog's from the other week end and my RPM's were jumping around after 5,000 RPM. I don't know if it is a problem in the distributor or computer, this may have been why the car was loosing power after that RPM. I think i can get my 60' times down a tenth or 2 with the slicks. Great run, good luck on getting to the 6's.
